The PhD School in Physics of the University of Trieste opens two PhD positions on the following projects:

1. Numerical study of the evolution of the low-redshift Inter-Galactic Medium(a) (contact person: Stefano Borgani, borgani@oats.inaf.it; funded within the EC Initial Training Network "COSMOCOMP - Pan-European training in computational cosmology: modelling cosmic structures");

2. The role of environment on the evolution of galaxies (contact person: Gabriella De Lucia, delucia@oats.inaf.it; funded within the ERC Starting Independent Research Grant "Galaxies through the cosmic ages: the role of primordial conditions and environmental effects").
